Having
an apartment in Spain can be compared to having a “luxury
investment”. An investment in sun, bricks and mortar, but
unlike investing in the share market, this is a solid, long-term
investment that you and your family can actually enjoy.
Buying an apartment in Spain has during
recent years become a reality for thousands of northern Europeans
rather than a dream. With the inflation in the UK and Irish property
market, millions have used their equity to invest in a holiday home
in Spain. Whereas many years ago, a home in the sun, was a programme
on TV with people you could not relate to, now almost everybody
knows someone who owns a property in Spain. With the low interest
rate and high equity, buying a home in the sun has become achievable.
More and more people are now buying
an apartment on the Costa del Sol. They know the coast from endless
holidays and golfing breaks. There are today more flights to Malaga
International Airport, than to any other international destination
from all UK airports. Traveling to Malaga is generally quicker and
indeed cheaper than taking the train from London to Edinburgh.
There are thousands of apartments
for sale on the Costa del Sol just as there are thousands of flats
for sale in Dublin but whereas there’s only a limited clientele
for Dublin, sometimes it seems as though half of Europe wants to
emigrate to the Costa del Sol. For every apartment for sale there
are 2 buyers. The Costa del Sol has seen a tremendous growth in
new built properties. Marbella Council has stopped issuing building
licences and even in Calahonda and Fuengirola there are fewer and
fewer tower cranes. The Costa del Sol has managed to attract a select
all year clientele by offering luxury apartments in wonderful surroundings.
We have selected a few apartments here on this page and with our
collaboration with other real-estate agencies on the Costa del Sol,
we are able to offer a fantastic portfolio of apartments for sale. |
